I want to like it, but gawd... it looks 'built down to a price' like a budget PCP. Although it's £1000.

No walnut, no mod, no quickfill, no spare mag...

The review says the cast-metal isn't nice, and neither is the mag indexing troubles on the test gun.

The plastic T06 safety catch looks flipping aweful in the photo.

And I personally wouldn't risk my money on the thing being good or reliable either

Well my new T06 safety catch looks and feels like plastic ... If Diana have managed to have it made out some cheap cast metal that makes me think it's plastic -- Then well done Diana! ::slow hand clap::

I'll get mine out tomorrow, and investigate why my brain and thumb assume its made of plastic.

I much prefered the feel & action of my old T01 safety, but the old trigger blade was made of... well, you know

I have to agree with Phil here, no walnut, no mod, no spare mag and worst yet no quickfill (but then again steyrs don't have quick fills but they are steyrs ) I doubt many of these sold hence the relaunch. They should be priced at around £600 then I still won't buy one, not my cup of tea.
Say what is true, although it may be bitter and displeasing to people.

Weihrauch took a long time to bring out its first pcp, and managed to get it right first time.

Diana took even longer and still got it wrong.

I like Diana rifles, have a fair few springers. This rifle caught my eye when they came out first, but the excessive price put me off, would I buy one, no not at the present price I wouldnt, my first choicee would be a good 2nd hand HW 100
