    Unhappy Help desperately needed

Hi - looking to find anyone who has or can point me in the direction of someone/somewhere who has a fill adaptor for an old Daystate Huntsman Mk1 - doesn't have to be a Snap-on the older style where you require a spanner is more than acceptable (lets face it that used to be our only option).

I have an old Huntsman - serial no. 0009 - it is a great hunting gun and has been trouble free for more years than I want to remember - it still is!!

The problem is that the fill connector (female) from hose to gun - 'leaks' - appears to have gained a few hairline cracks.

Have been in touch with Daystate, SCR and a company in Newcastle - apparently these adaptors, which were on the old Huntsmans/LR90s/Harriers are no longer available as Daystate have changed the design on the newer rifles and no longer can supply the old style (bad patter if you ask me).

Daystate have suggested an upgrade of connector or an upgrade kit is available from the Newcastle company - big problem is that my barrel is threaded for my Parker Hale Silencer and the upgrade apparently will interfere with this or would work if I don't use a dust cover. Honestly - none of these options is an option.

As I said the gun itself is great and it seems totally wrong to assign it to the scrapheap.

Would appreciate the help - maybe you or someone has an old 'spare' one lying around.

Look forward to some feedback on this.

    Regards

    Ronnie

    Hi Ronnie.
Try a company called Trist Draper in Barnsley.
Many of the old couplers were Hydraulic fittings.
It may be a job of posting it to them and letting them identify it properly as there are many different and odd thread sizes with hydraulics.
I have used them before and they are the real deal.
    Good luck.

I think you will find its 1/8 BSP, buy part 03C2-ML01 and 03D1-FM01 from best fitting. Screw 03C2-ML01 into the rifle no need to tighten with a spanner , fit the clip on connector onto your pipe . After you have filled unscrew the part out of the gun. Some of the early Huntsmans only fill to 2000 psi.
