    Anyone got a bog std TX200 mk3 spring they can measure for me please ?

    Just need to confirm ID, OD, coils and overall length please... all mine are Mk2s

    It may be just what I need for a little project...

    I'm out until tomorrow night but have a box fresh one I pulled out of a new rifle. Yours if you want it mate. Drop me a PM as lost your addy. It's from a .177 mk3. You can even have the big ass lump of steel they call a top hat

    Hi John, the mk3 TX .177 spring I've just got has 25 coils, the lenth is 22.2 cm , outside diameter is 19 mm and the inside diameter is 14 mm. the spring is a AA brand spring.

    OD 20.8mm. Wire 2.9mm. 23 active coils. 223mm free length.

    Thanks, that's actually closer to what I was expecting / hoping. It also confirms the spring I'm using really is a cut down Mk3 spring as I suspected; it's exactly the size - except mine has ~ 1.5 coils missing.. and doing about 10 FP, so with it's full length, it should be perfect

    Not that similar really - tighter ID (good, so it's fits the guide properly), thinner wire (so it's softer), therefore smaller OD (needs an additional coke can sleeve), but a good deal longer (so you get some bounce eliminating preload without going over power)
