    TP = 3mm

    Looks ok by eye, but a close up always looks ruff!

    Is that the one you were hitting the Quigley bucket with Nick ?

    At 75yards standing with open sights.

    Hi Mick

    I bought a single sided safety cylinder off here (from Premier pistol) that was 2.8mm, If I get time I'll measure my 1980s E for you tomorrow.

    It's looks like 3mm the norm.

    Sort of . I only put that one together on the morning of The Bash.
    .177 barrel from the above, mated to a 1987 action (known as "The Beast serial ~ ends 666) in a Luxus stock (I.J's my inspiration ) fitted with my prototype shroud.
    Seemed to work ok (11 ft/lbs, quickish action, no muzzle flip).

    I think I was seated when I gave your bucket a bash (), standing would have been some fancy shootin'.

    The photo is of the 1977 action's TP, although The Beast's TP looks to be the same size, despite originally being a .22.

    For info:Barrel swap/calibre change gave a 0.8ft/lb reduction in ME with the same action.

    I get blamed for everything.
    Ive just finished a nice tune on a .22, pre safety catch (so 13mm rails) leather seal. I recently bought this via a club member. It was a right wreck - bent barrel and cocking lever (replaced), split Std stock, rusty, faulty trigger etc. etc. etc. but it was cheap!
    I had it re-blued by Collin Malloy, replaced the stock http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...l?sort=6&o=187 and its now doing over 600 fps with Superdome ( a little too hot for me so I will de-tune it) with a main spring under 180mm so no pre-load. Sweet.
