I read the article and it actually made a lot of sense to me, so I was compelled to vote yes.

What a load of absolute drivel. Guns are a 'necessary evil' for farmers and police and some prison officers? What like knives are a necessary evil for chefs? Anything vaguely possible to be used in the murder of an individual are a necessary evil for anyone who doesn't want to live in a world of fluffy soft things? People have been killing one another since the dawn of time, banning guns is going to do what precisely?

This article is full of bollocks clearly but we have the chance to vote YES or NO to banning guns.

Have a look at the appalling article, then vote NO. I have posted this in the firearms section as well, as not everyone looks there.

yep, and most what is stated, is totally irrelevant to what we now call the UK, in fact when the demented fool brought in to the arena a couple of gun tragedys and one clear case of some one defending him self from scum who should not have been on his property it got obcene using deaths just to sell copy, so worse in a way than what he was condemning, im just a simple man but think could be right on this one.thats it now,just had a nise chat with Vic nice bloke about the Crossman 600 in the sales section and getting my Air Rifle pistols ready to go shooting up the the north Downs club with TonyT and others, im doomed going to hell im so wicked
