thats seems quite a long way for a shoot,can you not find anything nearer? I guess I am lucky that all my shoots are within 20 mins drive from me.best of luck though I hope you get it.Have you been hunting before? or will this be your first shoot?

I'm gently working on my Landlord who's also the local farmer but not terribly keen on others on his land as far as I'm aware.

The one in Somerset is the father of one of my colleagues, it's not that far away, I can be in Taunton in 20 mins from here, just need to get my exams out of the way this week before I can think about spending full days out.

I used to have shooting permission on a farm near where I grew up in West Cumbria, plenty of rabbits and a couple of woods. I think in those days I probably missed about 95% of what was going on, too impatient, should have spent more time sat in the bushes!
