BSA Standard No 2 – Very early Post WW1 Model from 1919

    For Sale:

A very early .22 Standard with the lowest serial number I have seen – S 117. The rifle has an attractive well grained stock with hand cut chequering, which was an early feature that did not last long. Wooden stock plug is present and undamaged. Correct 3rd pattern rear sight fitted with damaged V plate. The bead foresight is undamaged. Adjuster screw and its spring are both present. No etching visible and the clean blue suggests the rifle may have been refinished by a previous owner. This Standard cocks and fires with a strong action. The last time I had this at the club, she was hitting empty CO2 powerlets at 25 yards from the free standing position. Good clean screwheads overall. This is a nice rifle to use with H&N FTT pellets with the benefit of a very low serial number, which comfortably dates the rifle to 1919.

£165 F2F or can post at additional cost. I would be happy to demonstrate the rifle at Bisley on a Wednesday evening.
