Nikko Stirling Gold Crown Air King scopes

Has anyone actually seen or got one of these scopes yet? The Nikko website suggests that they have a mil-dot reticule, is this the case? If they do is the spacing the same as the Nighteaters or AGS scopes? I'm particularly interested in the 2-7x32 AO and 3-9x42AO.

    Cheers
    Chris

    Cliff,
they seem to have them or at least be able to get them. Have they got a decent mil-dot reticule though?

I recently purchased a 3-9x42AO from the bbs sponsor J S Ramsbottoms. It has a mil dot reticule and my first impression is excellent. How they do it for the price, mount included, and free postage is beyond me.

    Thanks for the response.
Does the mil-dot have the daft wide spacing like the Nighteaters and AGS?

I also have an AGS tru-hunter and the spaces between the dots on the AGS scope are larger.

Hi I just got a 4-12x42ao airking from blackpool rifles(Airgun buyer.com I think) focuses down to 10 meters very clearly and is mill dot.
Came with one piece mount and flip up lens covers I am a Nikko fan of old had a 30/30 3-9x40 silver crown I like that they are not too fussy about eye distance from the scope.
I'm no expert but will buy another for my Bsa airsporter quite soon I think.

Should it withstand the recoil of a Fac HW80 .22? (the 2-7x32 AO nikko )

I've got an older Nikko Gold Gameking 3.5-10X44 AO and the same in 4-16X44 AO.
They are superb scopes - better than Hawke in the same price range IMHO.
Mildot etched retical, good in low light, no vignetting around the fringe.

to keep this 7 yr old thread going I bought a 97 off here a few months ago and it had a 4-12x42ao airking on it , what a nice scope very clear and bright ,I don't think they go for much money but well worth a punt when they do.
