    Best shooter ....Mk1 25mm hw97 (long barrel)

Nicer and easier to shoot than anything else I own, including a couple vglided rifles, 97 and longbow.

The longbows the nicest to look at, and is bloody accurate at 10ftlb but very hold sensitive.
The vglide 97 is a 26mm, and not quite as accurate or nice to shoot as the mk1.
SFS superstar really needs a custom stock, doesnt get out much. Recoils a bit hard as well, although its accurate.
My old 99s was stupidly accurate but harsh and hard to cock.
Prosport was very nice, stupidly sold it, was a short stroke mk1 too! doh!

I'm building a 26mm 97, O ring, short stroke, light piston. The idea is to build a reliable rifle with decent accuracy and very, very low hold sensitivity, although I'm starting to doubt I can do better than the 25mm mk1.

If I am really honest I have no idea I bought it as is however having owned quite a few full factory Venoms and some cracking rifles off Steve M what I can tell you is it shoots in a totally different way. The Venoms are very smooth, this is a little more lively however the lock time is superb making it a very accurate rifle in average hands. I hate the pellet on pellet adage but this rifle really is and not just from a bench, I mainly shoot standing supported for nigh on the same results.

My 95k in .177, I've done a spit n polish job and fitted a "Tinbum kit" the only other decent springer I've shot extensively was my TX shame about the bloody weight of it although my Xocet isn't to bad but not the best !...
