For my Le Page, I use a 0.465 ball as the barrel must have been rebored at some point and it mikes up at 0.48. 30 grains of Swiss 1 and a patch 15 thou x 1 and an eighth in diameter. As a rule of thumb, I calculate the patch thickness to be twice the difference between the barrel and ball diameters. It's stood me in good stead as the Pedersoli has shot 96 with the smooth bore and a 98 with the rifled version (10 shots all to count).
If you speak to Tarmo, give him my best wishes and I look forward to seeing him in Barcelos in August.

Don't try doubling up on the patches. You'll do better trying to find the right thickness (try Jeff Tanner at Tanner ball moulds).
If you must drive on the right, move to France

Got to test fire the LePage today. 17 balls out of the barrel, not a single misfire
Tested 28gr of swiss no2 + .457 ball & 0.16mm patch. Tarmo loaded one and said that this combo should be ok.

For me that is ok as I use .457 ball in the revolver and .16mm patch material for Siber.
