Let me see if I have the message right, Trev. It can "pop a hole" in car windows a block away and its danger to human eyes is portrayed as proof of its power (illustrated by crying toddler).

    Dodgy advertising, or what?

Hard to believe it could be genuine.

    Dead-Eye advert

I found it whilst Googling. Then I found there was a Dalton Bros toy factory in New York-it is now defunct. It would seem to be a reasonably modern spoof on Daisy advertising....I HOPE!

Here it is at a cooking site!Go down to post #15

Hard to say isn't it, Trev. I loved the lad giving it the hard sell while in the background his kid brother was being loaded into the ambulance. The level of self-awareness reminded me somewhat of Mad magazine.

Apparently it was made by "the National Lampoon" in America, so it is a spoof.

    Wicked things

My initial inclination was MAD,HELP or NL-then I found the Dalton Toy Co! The style of the BB gun looks fairly recent(for our lot)Trev

I thought it must be Mad magazine (sadly no longer available in the UK). Mad used to do quite a lot of satire on gun ownership!

Rob M has identified it as created by National Lampoon.
