    Crossman M1

I'm having to reduce my collection as its getting a bit obsessive so this one has to go ( I have 3 more of these).
I imported this one from the states a few years ago and doesn't get used, looks great on the wall. The plastic stock is the earlier dark brown colour and is a bit tatty but its solid. It shoots very well for a 30 + year old bb gun. £100 collected or can post for £110.

Unfortunately not these are quite difficult to get hold of and in the states worth as much as the gun it self. I have seen them sell on USA auction sites for crazy money.

Seems a bargain, I bought one a few weeks ago at Bisley for £150. Used to have a real .30 calibre one and the only difference I noticed in the appearance and heft was the stock feels slightly narrower across the width.

Hi Baz apparently they are supposed to be the exact dimensions and weight as the .30 cal M1 Carbine but have no way of confirming that. I remember some of the RUC guys in N Ireland used to carry them around sadly I never had the chance to handle one. These Crossman's are becoming scarce and the Americans go a bit potty for them ...childhood plinking and all that.

It was one of my favourite little rifles in South Africa, used to carry it around everywhere to plink with. I fitted a folding stock and a pistol scope on the top cover and it was very accurate up to 200 metres. The Norma ammo I used was very expensive at the time. (Daughter is holding a Sauer .44 magnum single action). Forgot to mention, my M1 was made by General Motors (Inland Divison).

The yellow stuff is called "sunshine", appears for months on end, very nice to wear a costume especially with a swimming pool in the back garden.(Ah, why did I ever leave, all those hundreds of lovely firearms.)
