    beginners 10m target pistol recommendations

I have started shooting 10m target shooting at our club.
I'm looking to buy a target pistol and have no idea what to get
Within my budget secondhand of around £200 maybe a bit more.
I'm using an hw40 just now but would like to upgrade a little.
The guys at the club are using steyr ect out my price range.
Can anyone recommend a few options I could look out for
    Cheers
    David

Nowt to do with me, but if you're quick theres an Air Match SSP right on your money here... http://www.airgunbbs.com/showthread....ighlight=match

Not shot one myself, but others at our club have owned them and by all accounts they are a very nice pistol.

At the kind of money you're thinking about... I could also recommend the FAS AP604 SSP, the CO2 Tau7 and the older FWB 65/80's which are still very capable guns

I had one. Best trigger I've ever owned on any gun. I was tempted by that one in 'sales' yesterday, but I resisted!

I have sent a pm to the seller I did a Google search and found they were prone to the piston body cracking and a lug at the back snapping that put me off a bit.
If parts are available I will buy it .
I have had huge problems trying to find theoben parts for my rifles so I want something spares are easily available.
    Cheers

I have a LP10 but use a FAS 604 for MPL comps. Very good pistol with fab grip and fantastic trigger. You could be lucky and find one for £200 second hand. A great upgrade from the hw40 (which is an excellent pistol for the money). Good luck with your search

Slightly beyond your budget, but a Baikal IZH46 is a good starter pistol and an excellent one for ongoing target shooting.

The IZH46 is a great pistol for the money, spend a bit of time (after shooting it for a while) getting the grip right for you and it will happily compete with anything else at club level
    Steyr LP10, Steyr LP5,
Vintage Collection - Walther LP53, HW77k Venom, BSF S20 Match, Original 35, ASI Target plus lots more
