Southern Hunters Series Round 1 results

Given the weather an excellent turn out and strong scores, congratulations to all the winners - particularly Brigitte on winning the shoot off.

The cash bonus bunny was won by Mark Stanley and the three Air Arms Goody Bags by Nigel Hammond, Derek Watson, Alex Larkin.

We will be starting the shoot at the Oaks at 10am rather than 10:30 to allow extra time for the team from MAD to get back for Xmas celebrations.

Well done Charles for getting the scores up so quick, I think "The Oaks" should be an eleven am start unless we are invited to the "Mad" bash

Thank you Nige, my pleasure. Very testing course and glad i chose to shoot as it was tempting to stay at home.
First time shooting in the rain for me and what an experience it was!
The only thing dry were my feet in my boots everything else was soaked! and i mean everything.
Gun performed unbelievably well even with water filling up the pellet tray as i loaded.
All great stuff and cant wait to do it again.
Off to buy some real waterproofs and a hat
Thanks to everyone involved with the coarse setting , a lovely test for the new boy
