Daisy also did No. 40 Military Model ( WW1 ) and 2 Defender Models - 1 WW II and the other Korean war. The bayonets are extremely rare - most parents apparently deciding a piece of sponge rubber wasn't sufficient to stop little Wilbur running Sis through with it.
If anyone could give me a value on any of these I'd appreciate it although it would probably reinforce my belief that I should have bought all 3 at a recent auction.

When guns are outlawed only outlaws will have guns .
Mick, only the 40 had a bayonet. The 140/141 and 142 didn't have any sharp bits. The 140 is the rarest.28,000 made-a small number for Daisy! regards,Trev
Mick,
If you need any info on Daisys then Brian Drew is your man. I think his username is Bdrew, but he hasn't been active on here for a while. A thorough gentleman and ardent Daisy collector.
Try a pm or start a new thread on the Daisy and he may well pick up on it.
atb,
Pete.
