    Weihrauch HW97K vs FWB 300s

There is an used Weihrauch HW97K for sale here at a reasonable price.
    £260
It is not an UK spec, it is an 290m/s spec gun, unfortunately I can not
    test it.

My simple question is: when used to shooting the 300s, am I likely to be
disappointed or happy with the Weihrauch 97k accuracy and handling?

    Cheers
    Wanted part new/used: Model 65, 80, 90 part 1600.178.1 Führungsachse, hinten ø 4,615 Guide axle, rear, ø 4,615

I think you will enjoy it as a refreshing change. The Feinwerkbau is a heavy, massively-stocked recoilless target rifle with low power and the 97 is a powerful recoilling sporter. They each have an utterly different feel, and once you have shot a few beer cans at 80 meters with the 97 you will appreciate the fun of owning one... Definitely own both! The 97 is easy and great fun to tune, and there are loads of ways and means to do this, while the FWB is really best left at its factory state.

    Absolutely!!

And the lovely thing with the 77/97, TX, LGU etc., is that they can make that higher power whilst remaining beautifully sweet and refined, too.

I just ordered the gun so I hope you are right, a little Christmas present to myself

I guess a little tune to get the power down will be the first thing I do, maybe get a
V-Mach or a Vortek Tuning Kit as well as order some heavier pellets than what I have
    used so far.

If you want proper Christmas presents, you have to buy them yourself.

This arrived in my mail today. Like brand new hardly ever fired

    New gun

Heavier than I expected thought, but not to bad.

Stuck my old Busnell banner 4-12 x44 on it on some temp. mounts. New BKL mounts should arrive in a couple of days.
Will then test my new knowledge regarding mounting and setting up my scope
