WH Smiths not stocking AGW ??

Called in Bolton store today to buy a copy,no stock i had called in various days to try and buy it Dec issue was out on the 17th Nov according to the store. Store stock saying none in, none on order,checked with Bury store, same answer person there said they may not be restocking AGW . Anybody had problems buying this mag from Smiths,may be just a hiccup but..... just wondered !... Gordon.

Our local Smiths has closed down so that leaves ASDA as the local distributor nearest to me......No Gun magazines!

I seem to remember an issue with WHS .... I am pretty certain it was WHS...... a couple of years (?) ago when they either stopped selling the mags or put them on 'the top shelf' or was it not selling to under 18's?
The issue was resolved peacefully and the mags went on normal sale again.
I hope we are not entering a new era ....
Can other folk look in their local WHS to see if the issue is widespread?

It must be just some of w h smiths shops I got mine in the Sunderland branch last week they had all the mags in apart from gun mart but that could be them waiting for the new issue

Waverley station in Edinburgh had none either. I'm sure its a smiths. Wanted to get one to read on the train to Aberdeen. They had one shooting mag but buried at the bottom behind other mags

I got air gunner and airgun world Decembers issues in the same packaging for £3.99 has I did the same for novembers issues.

My WHS puts them on a shelf so low to the floor you have to crawl about on all fours to see them, very hard with a dodgy knee at the moment, they once refused to sell a copy to a mates son saying it was an adult only magazine, I pointed out to the staff member the junior shooting section in that months copy. I still had to buy it for him.
I use WHS but I don't like them, I have a subscription to Airgun World now but get the other airgun mags there.
