    Group size!

Is it feasible that a change of brass (from Hornady to Remington) might cause my groups to open a little? In addition the Remington brass has a larger flash hole than the Hornady ( 3mm - 1.5mm.) .22 Hornet.

From my limited understanding yes, (mostly from researching loading the hornet on here and shooting different brass through my hornet) different brass may have different internal volume which combined with the same charge and seating depth will give a different starting pressure and therefore change how the round behaves.

people Seem to recommend the Remington brass for its high internal volume with privvi being at the opposite end of the scale.

Whenever reloading components or techniques are changed it is worth re-checking the MV.

its best to stick with the same brass as discussed above but my .223 remington shoots everything the same regardless of brass.
sometimes you can get away with it other times not
