    Pietta colts navy/army

    does all the internal parts from the navy/army 1851, 1860, 1861, 1862 Pietta fit each other ?

    All may need some gentle fettling. However, please be aware that Navy Arms and Pietta are NOT the same company.

    Dixie Gun Works are a better bet than Cabela's, IMO.

    Mind you, that's only based on personal experience, not hearsay.

    sorry should i should have wrote pietta navy and pietta army
    most pietta will fit ,as you say may need some gentle fettling.

    kranks are still waiting for delivery,may just sit and weight for them,

    ill checkout Dixie Gun Works too
    are those parts listed legal to post to uk ?

    As long as they are not pressure parts they are legal to ship, however some US firearm companies will not ship anything outside of the states.I have has parts from Henry in New York with no problem.

    I've ordered from both companies and haven't had any problems, there not component parts. You will have to pay extra for imports from the US.
    I had an order with Dixie Gun works the other week and had to pay an additional £11 for tax and GPO handling .
    When I've previously looked at ordering bits from Kranks there never in stock and they don't give a definitive delivery date so I suppose it will depend on how urgently you require them.
    The other option would be to have a search for a European supplier.

    well ordered from cabelas took 11 days so thats good,
    at the mo the cylinder is running over a bit
