I had a 20" barreled 22-250 Improved in which i used IMR 4895 if thats any help?
Being a relitively fast powder for the cartridge it insured a complete burn of the charge within the confines of the 20" barrel.

    Several years ago I ran a 20" Tikka T3

I wanted a foxing rifle - light enough to carrying on foot , and compact for getting in and out of vehicles.

I used Vit N140 - with both 55 grn SKB's and 40 grn vmax - Velocities were 3600 fps and 3900 fps respectively.

What 45 grn bullet you going to shoot BTW.
