    Setra AS1000 Date of Manufacture

Can anyone date this Setra Pneumatic rifle for me please?

The serial number is A followed by what looks like an O then the numbers 1429.

Calibre is .177 and it has a steel barrel and breech (magnetic) and a non-magnetic compression tube.

    Hi Allan

Your Setra sounds Identical to mine which I bought new in 1983 so at a guess the production date of yours would be late 1982/early 1983.

    Mine has serial number AO1487.

    All the best Mick
