    Bsa improved model d question

    Just starting another renovation, this time a BSA Improved Model D (light pattern) and getting it all apart. Just need to know if the piston rod unscrews when the little screw on the face of the piston, under the washer, is removed ? Thanks.

    Just had a look on the Knibbs site and can see that it does unscrew but thought I'd ask before giving it some welly. I need to remove it as it has some serious gouges on it which need to be got rid of.
