Anyone know if CS are inletting yet for the LGU?

I'm thinking a CS700 would go very nicely on my LGU and maybe they'll have a January sale

To answer my own question...... just rang and asked them, and it seems there's no plans at the moment to support the LGU

Apparently the cost of tooling is "Tremendous" and the demand isn't great enough

I would've thought that the tooling was cheap but initial software set up would cost more

They do seem to be having tool related problems regarding any new guns, but I think it is more the problem of tools in the decision making dept.

    Cheers

Im no stock maker and I have no idea how CS operate but I would imagine they would need a few router bits and an LGU to copy from and test fit the stocks. Some of the big radius cutters can cost 80 quid or more and an LGU £350. If they havnt had many request you can see where they are coming from. They might have to sell 4 or 5 before they break even.

I've just tried to look at their web site and it appears as "Protected Site" and asks for a password to log in.

A bit weird for a site that should be show casing their products.

Possibly site fees not paid and held in suspension.

They do seem very reluctant to retool for these new guns.
A thread ran - not so long ago about not making woodwork for the HW99.
It has to be run like a part time thing now, as i couldn't name 1 new production gun which is stocked by them, so business must be slow.
I cannot imagine that they get more than 6 orders a week for air rifle stocks.

Their biggest issue is their absolute stuck in the mud stubborn approach to making stocks for new guns.

As gunmakers change and delete current range, they will have to pull their socks up!

Unless anyone knows of a big order they have got? Or have Minelli pulled Custom Stocks pants down for a long time now?
