Good luck in the search for the new gun AB, there's a nice 527 in one of my local RFDs (Dauntseys) at the mo, fair lump of money though as it has a Schmidt sat on top.

When I've been in there discussing a possible secondhand purchase they've been willing to split scopes off secondhand rifles- though that was on a commission sale on a slightly unusual rifle. Always worth asking the question and they're friendly
