I think I have only seen two advertised on here in 12 years.

Garvin and rockdrill on here might have an idea.

Shops to check would be City Air Weapons in Birmingham, Manchester Air Guns and Surrey Guns.

The best place to look for one would probably be egun.de and try to find someone who will ship outside of Germany.

I believe they were more popular in their home country where running target has a bigger following.

I don't know what the Running Target name is in German though!

There's this one for sale in the US. I can vouch that the seller is one of the good guys.

It would appear that only the stock is Running Boar, the action is plain 300S (as per the description and also other differences).

As previous, OP your best bet is Egun, that's where I got mine from. Laufende Scheibe I believe is what you are after.

They do come up for sale there.

Oops. Yes, sorry, air-tech is absolutely right, as stated in the ad, that's not a genuine RT, although the action looks like it could be a 300SU, with the fore sight on dovetails and so easily removeable.

The RT stocks were apparently sold separately and were bought by 300S/U owners. The way to tell a genuine RT is to look at the breech opening, which on an RT is tilted to the side, to facilitate loading with 'scope mounted.

Also, a genuine Running Boar variant has no facility to mount a foresight, just a simple muzzle weight fitted, as visible on my rifle: http://www.airrifle.co.za/attachment...3&d=1379151292

Yup, that's just like mine, with that style stock.

I wonder what the story is regarding the different stock types, i.e. thumbhole or not?

There seems to be 4 stock variants for the RT, only one variant being the thumbhole.

This brochure from '84 shows the RT patterns available at the time.
