    Shooting Books

I am not sure whether this is the correct place for this posting, but I have some books that I will be selling and needed to get an idea of a fair asking price as I know they are often difficult to find.

    The books are:

    Pistol Shooting by Hans Standl

Successful Pistol Shooting by Frank & Paul Leatherdale

    Training Shooting Sports by Barth/Dreilich

Not really difficult to find, Training Shooting Sports by Barth/Dreilich is in print and available from the NSRA or on Amazon or a well known auction site. Pistol Shooting by Standl, and Successful Pistol Shooting by Frank & Paul Leatherdale are available at a variety of prices.

Apart from the Barth and Dreilich book, the other two are really not very useful. The rules have changed considerably since they were written and training techniques have advanced considerably. They are OK from a historical perspective, but if you are interested in performance improvement then you need Pistol Shooting The Olympic Disciplines.

You may wish to factor this into your pricing.

Thanks, I have got the MEC book and it is very good but not cheap. Although the other books are older much of the techniques are similar to today and provide different perspectives on pistol shooting that are still useful.

Having looked at the websites mentioned the different books vary in price from £30 (Frank Leatherdale) to £8 (Standl), so will be advertising them shortly.
