Thumbs up Melbourne Marksmen vs Redhill Revolvers: Leg 2 at The Queen Vic

The details of the much anticipated MM vs RR second leg have been confirmed.

Time: Sunday 25th January...7pm start for the competition, practice from 6.30 onwards.

Venue: The Queen Victoria, 76 High Street, Syston, Leicester. LE7 1GQ

Paul Clarke, RR's Competition Secretary, has provided the following information:

"You can either enter through the main entrance of the pub and walk through to the separate restaurant building at the back, or alternatively enter via the gates on the left hand side of the pub.
There is a car park situated on right hand side of the pub

We will of course be laying on food for the evening which I believe will be a cold buffet (sandwiches, crisps, porkpie etc)..."

The mention of "pie" should be enough to ensure a good turnout.

Looking forward to another evening's close shooting and enjoyable competition.

Congratulations to Redhill Revolvers on reclaiming the trophy.

Some good shooting by the Revolvers saw them win leg 2 by a comfortable margin and take overall honours.

Melbourne Marksmen would like to thank all the Redhill members for a well organised evening, shot in the best bell target spirit, with some particularly fine comestibles.

Well done and we'll see you later in the year for the rematch.

    A most enjoyable evening.

As Nick says, the 2nd leg was very well organised, a lovely spread was put on and there was a nice friendly atmosphere.

Well done to Steve, Paul and their team
