have now settled on a MTC Viper 10x44 SCB, this one has very good clear and bright optics (best one out of 4) went for the fixed mag so to stop me from fiddling constantly with my set up and it works for me

For the last 3-4 years it's been MTC Vipers 10x44s all the way.

Now found a Hawke Digi thingy in 3-12x50 for my FTP. Bit early to say if I'll stick with it, but good enough for the current world champ and his coach ( ), so it will stay in place for at least a season.

I've gone back to my ancient Gold Crown. Much better optics than the new Target Master I tried for a few years. I think some of the early Nikko Stirlings were excellent. It breaks all the rules, no mil dots, 25mm tube, 50mm objective- but it works for me - as long as I believe it...

Haven't done HFT for around 5 years now, but when I did, MTC Viper 10x44 did everything I required.

If I ever do return to the sport, it'll be an MTC scope (probably a Connect) sitting on top of whatever rifle I use.
