    Five cheap rifles for sale

A group of cheapies for sale.

    1. Milbro Diana G80 .22. This is the final model of this rifle they made, a last gasp before Scotland lost its one airgun company. It’s really not a bad little rifle, well made (a lot better made than the contemporary Meteor), and accurate. Has the plastic trigger unit, nice and solid in this example. Lacquer on the stock is peeling and the pin holding the cocking lever to the breech block is a replacement (top rifle in the triple image).

2.Milbro Diana G80 .22. The early model, with the slab like stock plastic trigger unit (a bit wobbly in this example). Stock has been a bit battered here and there (middle rifle in the triple image).

3.Milbro Diana Series 70 Model 71 .22. Perhaps Milbro’s highest quality rifles (though not necessarily the best shooter). This I a restoration and is missing the push-in safety, also the stock has split at the screws and bene repaired and re-finished. Nice alloy trigger, Milbro gave the barrel a close fitting shroud to make it heavier (remember, they only had the pre-war German Diana machinery to make these on). Rifle has been rebuilt and shoots OK (bottom rifle in the triple image).

4.Hatsan (?) .22 break barrel. It’s an early version of a Hatsan 60, with the plastic trigger unit and the walnut stock. Imported into the UK briefly some years ago (top rifle in the double).
5.Diana Original model 27. Seen better days, stock split and repaired at the grip. Missing all open sights, but shoots fine.

And finally, as an added extra, a battered, but probably savable, Haenel Model 23 (I think, partly tinplate) break barrel (no photos at the moment), thrown in for free.

£150 for the lot. In this case postage is a bit restrictive, this would cost a fortune. I can deliver in the areas of Salisbury, Southampton, Norwich, or along the line of the M3, M25 (Jan 12-23 clockwise), A1 (Hatfield, Welwyn, Stevenage), A505, A11 for an extra £5-10 (depending on distance). SOLD pending the usual

As ever, to sell only to over 18s, an offer to buy will be taken as confirmation of this requirement. First to post ‘I’ll have them’ openly on the forum gets them.
