    Valuation no.2 please

Valuation no.2 please on boxed BSA MKI METEOR .177 unusual smooth-bore.
Has all paperwork and also has original rectangular shaped BSA oil container (not shown in photos).
Any help on the value would be much appreciated, before I put it up for sale.

Stunning rifle! I would have thought £300 and upwards would be paid for this rare beauty by a connoisseur of boxed BSAs. How often do you see packages this complete?

How did you attach photos - a feature not usually available to us mere mortals?

    Cool

    Gorgeous bit of history!!

I have number N268 but it's nickel plated and rough with it! Strangely it shoots much better than it looks!!!

    I paid £50 for it

Worth a premium for sure. No idea exactly what but £300 isn't rude though £200 might be the market value. I would start at the higher. Just gets to the point of what else a collector might get for that kind of sum and there are some lovely rifles to be had.
A well used one then £50.

Shame that some kid didn't get to use it (boo hoo)... maybe the little beggar mis-behaved, and it ended up stored rather than under the xmas tree.

I think the pictures are there because the threads were posted in 'sales' then moved to here.

Knowing your luck, John, from that we can conclude a valuation somewhere north of £500!

Don't know how you do it.

It's a surprise to me too that the pictures are on here!
    I posted them on wanted/swaps.
Many thanks to all for your comments on the valuation.
