Redhill Vs Melbourne Bell Target Match - 2nd Leg

Firsty id like to say a big thank to everyone who took part in the 2nd leg of the Interclub Bell Target Competiton between Melbourne and Redhill. This time, it was held at Redhill's home ground in Syston and after the 1st leg, Melbourne were up 10 points on Redhill, so we had it all to do tonight if we wanted to turn this around. It turned out to be a good night of shooting and banter, and food thrown in aswell, plus its always nice meet new people from other clubs and also catch up with those familar faces from the previous shoots.

After the 1st round, Redhill managed to score 216 VS 204 for Melbourne, meaning we had overturned the 10point defecit from the 1st leg at Melbourne, but we knew that it was all still to play for and that they would want to come back strong for round 2. So after a short break for food/chat and a topup of drinks, round 2 was underway, and when the final shots had been taken, round 2 went to Redhill with a score of 211 VS 195 for Melbourne, Overall Redhill won on the night by 28 points with 427 and 32 bell rings VS 399 and 18 bell rings to Melbourne Marksmen.

So it was 1 leg a piece, however with scores from both legs combined, it was Redhill who came out victorious managing to win by 18 points overall. We are very much looking forward to another rematch later on in the year. Thanks guys for a pleasent & friendly shoot/evening.

This is my rifle. There are many like it, but this one is mine.
My rifle is my best friend. It is my life. I must master it as I must master my life. My rifle, without me, is useless. Without my rifle, I am useless.
