Hi. Am selling my really rather presentable (not immaculate but in EXTREMELY good condition) late 1970s BSA Airsporter Mk.VI in .22. Tap holds presure well, and the gun is putting out about 10 ft.lb with RWS Superdomes (seems to like these best).

This Airsporter also comes complete with a hens tooth in the form of its original BSA front sight shroud/hood, and a lump of rocking horse doings, namely a very rare and originial, genuine BSA rubber bung to cap off the pistol grip stock screw hole -- have seen these bungs sell on the bay of eeee for £25 on their own.

I am now only asking £135 for this particular Airsporter with the period original attachments as detailed, including PF 48 HR Insured post to any U.K. address. Sorry, no offers. First to post below, caveat free, that they will take this lovely old gun as advertised, and who then also p-m's me the same, will be the recognised buyer.

This rifle is also being advertised in the AIRGUNS FOR SALE section of the BBS (as in the link above), as is allowed per BBS rules, as this is a collectable, so in the event of two people offering to buy it, one on each thread, the times and dates of the aforementioned posts and p-m's will determine the buyer as is only fit and fair.

Now the legal bit. In offering to buy this rifle you are confirming to me that you are over 18 years of age, and that you are not a prohibited person under section 21 of the Firearms Act.

Not sure about the legality of sending to Spain, but I will try and find out, although I sent an air rifle to France a year or so back, and that cost £32 insured iirc, so I assume it will be roughly the same, if legal? Meanwhile, above Airsporter is till fully available.

Open slot my friend -- the model you are thinking of (if a tap-loader) is the Mk.VII. The RB-2 range of Airsporters (post Mk.VII) also had enclosed forends. Hope this helps . Atb: G.

Apparently one can only send an air gun internationally with an approved Customs Cert specifying it is not FAC rated (and how much would that cost ???), so that is that then me thinks, as sounds like far too much hassle to organise, and far too expensive, so as it says in the quoted bit: above Airsporter is till fully available.
