Hi Steve . I hope you and the family are well. I Will pop a few quid in the fund once I'm paid next week.

Send a letter To W.,L Gore and see if they will donate some of their gore bike wear products.

I'd love to say we're both in good health but the missus has some very serious medical problems that aren't going to go away and my arthritis is in just about every joint now. I had an MRI on my knee yesterday to see what's going on, I'll hopefully be having surgery on that in the near future.

Kids are fine and that's all that's keeping us going to be honest.

I've still got my twisted sense of humour though

hi and welcome back lad , I always enjoyed your input on the forum. I hope the operation is fine I am only on tablets and injections at the moment so I could not imagine the pain that you are going through.

It's pretty bad Tony and makes day to day tasks a chore, but it ain't gunna kill me thankfully.

Taking 40mg of Zomorph (slow release Morphine) twice a day which helps a little but it's not an ideal solution. I'm hoping once my knee is sorted I can come off it. It's not something I want to be taking long term.

I get to spend every day at home with my kids though which is a bonus as I had to pack work in, in June 2013.
