    Webley & Scott fan.

Did anyone else see the very rare Webley and Scott fan on that auction site today?
I stuck a bid on it but its been withdrawn. Shame really as it would have been interesting to see what it made.

True but if it has been taken down you would need to have been on there during the short space of time it was up and I do have a life.

Hi Webley did a desk/floor fan with their name stamped on it, l don't think it was made by them but l could be wrong, but for some strange reason they go for silly money around £500, l know what l would sooner have a gun by them or a fan but each t their own.

In British slang an anorak is a person who has a very strong interest in niche subjects.

Are you sure, it might have been a cardboard copy...

Yes, it was quite wrong of me to suggest you might change your mind. I do apologise.

The state I'm in at present, nobody would want the original, let alone a replica.

(I don't do cardboard copies, I leave that to others. )

Thanks muchly to DCL_Dave for the link to the advert for the fan. Very useful/interesting as it dates the introduction of this super piece of British engineering.
They certainly don't make 'em like this any more!
