A new version of the Walther LGV.

Walther have finally produced the version they should have started with.

It has no open sights and a much better LGU type stock with a high comb and adjustable butt plate for windage and elevation.

A very handsome gun. Reminds me of the old Venom HW80s. Though not walnut of course.

Sadly a bit late in the day, but at least they listened.

    Don't know yet.

They may price it in the same range as the LGU, which would make it a good buy.

If they charge as much for it as they did for the LGV Competition Ultra, my advice would be to get it from Germany.

Very nice looking gun, isn't it?

Now where can I get one of those lovely stocks for my Challenger Pro?

Hmmm, rather fancy one of them. Managed to get the ridiculous collection of pcp,s down and now all these Springers keep turning up.

It's not Walther, they're made by Umarex. But at least its German build I suppose. Am I the only one who'd much prefer the LGV/LGU with a setback steel trigger blade? Derek

I want one! I really like my LGV Master Ultra and LGU Master. I almost pulled the trigger on the Competition Ultra but seeing this I will hope and wait for a Canadian dealer to stock it.

They may be Umarex but they are good guns.

Much as I love Weihrauch springers I find their disassembly and reassembly a pain in the arse. And then there's all the cleaning up of sharp edges and springs to contend with.

The Walthers are well up to Air Arms and HW standard build standards and certainly better finished internally and much easier to work on than the Weihrauchs.

Umarex they may be, but they're a huge step up from Umarex's cheaper products.

i think in terms of build quality, fit-n-finish , finished edges, polished surfaces, and blueing quality, air arms is the winner [by quite some margin too] then i would place weihrach and walther on an even keel . they both have varying quality of polished surfaces and blueing, but overall when looking at all the components of the action i would put them even stephens........
    but......
when it comes to shooting [and were talking out of the box, not tuned examples] then walther is noticably better........ than any of the others !
    imho
