Are there any couriers that will take an air rifle/pistol?

As per title. Dad passed away in January, and I need to sell some of his guns to pay a few bills, but the couriers I've looked at say no airguns, so was wondering what others do that sell in them in the classifieds now. I live on the IOW and as I'm agoraphobic and struggle to go out, I can't take them any where myself, and I doubt they'll sell locally (or at least not for near what they're worth). There's a couple of S&W CO2 pistols, one 6", one with 4", 6" and 8" barrels, a Thoeben Rapid 7 MkII and a Steyr pre-charged 10m match pistol.

    Cheers

NOT a good idea to use Hermes as airguns are in their prohibited items list

Unaware of any couriers that will, only Special Delivery or Parcel Force 48 seem to allow.
(NO co2 cylinders though, empty or full!!!)

You can pay extra for cover but if something goes wrong you can only claim till £100 because of the terms and conditions regarding airguns...

Sorry to hear about your father passing.

Depends on how you want to play the courier system. If you class it as "sporting goods" they will all take them. I think parcel force will however take an air rifle - just don't state it is precharged.

    Regards.

TNT only carry air weapons for business accounts. Parcelforce will only carry PCP's for business accounts ( although there are ways around this ), Royal Mail & Parcelforce carry low powered air guns with varying restrictions on size, TACS, co2, insurance etc.

No other courier knowingly carries air guns.

In the circumstances, I think your opening line could have been phrased with a little more thought?
