    Cased Webley Service

FYI : Tonys Camo & Airgun Centre , Chester , has a cased three barrelled Service for sale.

This sale has nothing to do with me.

Just rang them and the rifle is a .22 with 2 knibbs barrels, reasonably priced at £1700

I know of one with 3 genuine Webley barrels slightly cheaper than that

But they're not all numbered to one rifle, I'm guessing?

That is my cased Service, and although the barrels are all numbered to the gun using the same typeface as the original, and all are marked with the correct calibre both in wording and numbers, in the same way - although one is marked on the underside instead of the left side - there is some doubt as whether the barrels are all genuine Webley.
I always thought they were, but on close examination and after certain differences were pointed out by someone who knows, I have to accept they may not be, so have adjusted my asking price. The leather case is from the correct period, as is the Webley label.

Thanks David. I've altered my description of it slightly.

I'm confused. So you weren't talking about the gun in Peter's pictures then? Sorry, I should have made it plain that some scrolling was necessary.
