Sorted mine out. There was actualy a mashed up pellet in the rear of the action. Like in the probe housing preventing the bolt going forwards. Sorted now though so i am happy.

Hi have you actually bought this tool set and used one of them to undo the anti tamper bolts? Or have you just heard it from someone?

That's great to hear. I did read that they did not fit and the only one you could use was a Daystate pattern one.
I wonder why the guy on the other forum is overwhelmed with orders for the one he makes at £10 when the Maplins set is only a couple of pounds.
    Just don't make sense.

DS use the same bolt for .177 and .22, only the .177 probe end is smaller, (obviously..!) this leaves a gap under the probe when the bolt is pulled back, and pellets can drop into the action, if the muzzle is raised, jamming things up. I think someone once took out six..! If the pellet is half in and out of the breech and mag, it can get damaged, and you can't load it, or take the mag out. Gentle rodding may get it back, but if you're too hamfisted, you make things worse, so it's back to DS. They do the sleeving mod, but a while ago they charged for something that should have been fitted from new.

Daystate charged me £16 odd ,gun was only 3 weeks old and told me its my fault for taking a shot above 35% , I told then its a design fault ,but still had to pay , tossers
