Just thought I'd share a few of the amusing details in connection with the purchase of my newest addition......

Last May I bought a mint, used .22 from Oldskoolzzz. Lovely chap and an absolute gent. The gun was just a few months old and had been previously owned by Brucieboy, who had de-tuned it further. 5.5ft.lbs and so uber-smooth.

Well, the new one that I got last night came from....

So, about a year after my first dealing with him, another 30S from the same, fine chap! He'd only bought it new in March, with a view to him and his son sharing it and hopefully coming to the Bash, but it didn't work out and Nick thought it better to sell. When he first bought it, he'd even jokingly said something along the lines of, "Oh well, if I decide not to keep it, I might as well sell it to TonyL"!!!

As he said last night, he may as well just have given my addy as the delivery point.

The gun is new and unused and, obviously, perfect.

Will get it over the chrono on Sunday and hopefully have a little plink. Then decide on now far to go, fettle-wise.

Thanks again Nick for a perfick and enjoyable deal. Gun totally as described.

Make sure you keep the '40, my man, and I hope you get your rifle "mojo" back soon.

We have a spare room that`s has wardrobes ideal for storing guns, the only problem is.......they`re full of the wife`s clothes,i have one wardrobe that doubles up as pellet and assorted accessories,tools etc storage, my shirts etc tend to have a Napier Gun Oil/aftershave aroma. But even a slight mention of a gun room conversion brings on THAT! look and we have silent running for a while . Oh well! one day.
