    12.30 Quigley Hollow Sweepstake Results

First to the post was the housewives choice and 5/4 favourite the Northern bred stallion, Trumpetier.

It was rumoured in the paddock that he'd fallen out with his trainers earlier in the week, but eventually he managed to tie them and walk to the postbox.

Reporters on the race say he had a length out in front and the going was firm for most of the distance, in the end just winning by a head.

So cheque received from Dave, who seems to be chomping at the bit to get back to Quigley Hollow.

It'll be good to see you again Dave, I've not seen you for such a long time --- it must be all of six days.

    All the best Mick

PS:- the girls are missing you so I gave them some extra hay to cheer them up.

It looks like you'll be spending quite a bit of time at Quigley Hollow this year as I see you've got your name down for the AirArms owners Club charity meet being held here on 1st/2nd August.

    http://www.airarmsownersclub.com/vie....php?f=2&t=469

This is why I bought a TX last weekend, as I didn't want to feel left out --- though now I've been told you don't need to own an AirArms gun to attend.

    All the best Mick

PS:- if you spend much more time here you may as well leave your tent set up and I'll just mow round it.

Yup Miick, I'm sorry, but I couldn't dream of missing any QH event.

Re the Air Arms OC Charity event, starting on 1st Aug - would it be alright if I came on 1st July? :
Seize the Day! Quigley Hollow is a great place to start.

Excellent; t'will be good to see you and your toys again.

That young man, Luke, y'know the Rekord trigger fettler, dropped in later last Sunday afternoon with some of his toys with well-fettled triggers.

Luke knows his stuff when it comes to Rekord triggers! He has done videos on stripping and re assembly. Guides on which sections to polish , a video on how to set up a trigger and he also does conversions to increase the leverage of the trigger!

    Good stuff....

    Good stuff....
Does anyone have a link to Luke's videos and info, it definitely sounds like it's worth investigating?

    Cheers

He has only uploaded his videos to facebook. So you have to be in the Weihrauch springer group on facebook (where he is admin) and the vidoes can be found there....
