Hi, my rifle seems to love Reloader 17 but there isnt any load data for the bullet I want to use. Is there a quick load guru out there who can run some data for me please. I would like to check how far from going red the max load I hope to work up to is.

Cal is 25-06 Remington with a 25" barrel
Bullet is a .257 Berger 115 grain hunting VLD #25513
Cartridge OAL to tip is 3.2770"
Case is trimmed to 2.484"
Powder is Alliant Reloader 17
I'm looking to start at 48.0 and work up to a Max of 49.5 (approx 80% fill of case)

It really helps if you input the fired brass overflow capacity mate

everything helps in quickload but water capacity of cases should be of new sized cases rather than fired ....but i could be wrong

Fired cases mate. Th idea is that you get the volume of the pressure vessel an instant after ignition.

I don't own QL but the 2 factors ive found from playing with it that make the most difference are the fired capacity of the brass and the col (which is a base to meplat measurement)

Thanks for the replies, Loiner the screen shots you sent me match mine and correlate to what I expected from looking at the data for 120 grain bullets on the Alliant website. According to quick load the max I'm going to go to is over 2.0 grains from going red so I've loaded 4 sets of test loads in 0.5 grain increments to try on sunday.
