Can anyone identify this old rifle ?

A friend of mine has just got come across this old rifle. If anyone can shed any light on what it is and what it's worth I'd be very grateful. It has no name on it anywhere and the only number I can see is a 34 stamped on the underside of the barrel, near the breech.

Photo's below, hopefully, if my link has worked properly

    Reinholt Manteufel Germany

made some of these models , i think it is the only milita models made after ww2 , they are made before the war but put together and sold after.
I have the info from a German collector and specialist , E.Groba

    Hi

It's definitely a Millitia, I have a Lightweight Militia which is basically a small childs gun

I reckon yours is The 'New' Millitia air rifle as the yoke of the breech doesn't have the rolled over effect, They are plain as are modern break barrels..

There's a bit of info about your gun HERE

EDIT- I didn't scroll down enough in the link!! Seems like you have your answer

Thanks John. It's slightly different to yours.I think it's the same as the last rifle in aircol's link. Any idea of value ? My mate has told me earlier he payed £30 for it.

    Hi Jeff

Yes, Mine is a junior model with 'rolled over breech jaws' Your mates looks a better version than mine, As to value, I'm not sure what value would be, I think I paid £40 for mine a few years ago so your mates would be more than that

Thanks John, I assumed it's not worth a lot, but he'll be pleased he got a reasonable deal.
