I have a feeling the scope is overkill for the gun . Don't think I need this much mag for this gun , I think I might buy another 4-16 PST for it and maybe put the 6-24 on my .223 . I am surprised how good these scopes are for the money , I have heard talk of people changing there Nightforce scopes for Vortex and I kind of see why . For the money the are amazing for sure , not sure about better than NF though , I am looking forward to taking it to Bisley to see how it dials up and from what I hear and read there will be no problem .

For me I would say a cracking bit of kit for the money .

Could you tell us a little more about the fault on your 4-16? I have one and apart from the smooth operation of the focus ring and the turrets it's honestly no better optically than my Hawke Sidewinder. Not a particularly crisp picture at anything beyond 300 yards. A Nightforce 'scope at the same price point that I looked through recently was far superior..
