    Vihtavuori powders

    Hi guys have any of you used vihtavuori N110 when reloading 223 using 55grain Hornady vmax

    I used to use n110 in .44 magnum and I think it is a bit too fast to use in a rifle. A quick search on the web seems to agree with this and that N133 is ok with lighter bullets.
    I imagine that it is possible to work up a light load using N110 but start low and work your way up.

    There's old data on their website to check but n110 is a hand gun / hornet powder, as has been said too fast for your application

    N130 or n135 would be better in your application as said n110 is too fast

    I use N120 for a 16 inch barrel - fast burner very nice results with 50gn to 55gn projectile.

    i use 120 in 223 and its VERY good

    N110 in 223...55gn

    15gns for a reduced load....790m/s. I use N110 for reduced loads in 5 different calibres! Brilliant powder.

    Thanks for the replys its just as i thought to to fast a burn think i will get a diffrent powder

    I've had good results with TAC in my .223 and it's cheap compared to hodgdon and Vhit

    n110

    With both cast and the h and n.....12 to 18 gns in 308,30/30, 32/40, 7.5 swiss
    8 gns in the 22hornet.
