Allan was a member at Shebbear for several years about a decade ago. I always had a respect for Allan, and the last time I saw him a month or two ago we bumped into each other in Butcher's Row in Barnstaple. He was positive about his family's future plans but clearly wasn't in good health.

Just sorry that my Wednesday afternoon teaching job didn't allow me to get to the funeral in person, but my mind was there at 3pm.

    Oh dear.

Rest in peace, Allan. I still recall us talking airguns over an ale at the local pub.
