Are you asking for advice on pricing or selling it here in collectable? I ask as it's not clear from your post...

I had one ages ago and sold it on here for around £850... mine was similar to yours with a Gary Cane stock and also .177. The Gary Cane stocked ones were a mostly a limited run made from Falcon parts for Sporting Supplies (mine wasn't and was a one off), the custom made ones were a bit more special with more engraving, jeweling, case hardening, fluted barrels etc. etc. and a stock mady by Ivan (the I in ISP). They are the are the ones commanding more money, but I believe Shaun isn't making many more, so the value is what people will pay for it. The Stutzens and special one offs are really special, also the grade of wood makes a big difference, mine was pretty plain.

It is for sale but I agree I did not make it clear I was asking if the pricing was right, It is not a Gary cane stock I believe and been told it was made at ISP. It as no engraving, the cert say No 19 of 50.

I had two of these which I foolishly sold
a stutzen in tigerstriped maple which was fairly plain other than the wonderous stock
and a super exhibition grade one which was more elegant than any fullbore rifle I've yet owned.
There are very few airguns that I've previously owned that I truly miss..that was a very special piece.

Its worth what the market will pay tbh but I'd say you are over by a couple of hundred anyway
Also bear in mind its a specialist item that has a limited market..to the right person nothing else will do...
Gun control means using both hands.

Lovely case hardening on the breech and bolt Shaun! This must be the best looking airgun ever...

    Cheers,

    Piotr.

Thanks for the comments, i personally think this is the best looking spartan i have made, not the best grade of wood, the stock shape is more classic fullbore style. the fluted barrel is different, also trigger guard is shaped different Rather than the standard weihrauch shape. there are a few more pics of it on facebook page isp air rifles. Regarding the original question of value, as previously said, its whatever someone will pay for it, i recently heard about one of my spartans selling for a thousand pound more than i sold it for originally

The Stock will be made by gary cane, the action will have been made by myself and my dad when we worked for sporting supplies all though they where still made in my shed at home not at sporting supplies directly, not all of them had engraving on, its what the customer ordered at the time.

Maybe off post but, one of my mates at Nelson Air gun club South Wales, Russ Summers has one of these and it is simply a marvel of a gun, very impressed but out of my price range.

    Spartan

Any excuse to show off my Spartan....:-)

I love the bone case hardening more than bluing to be honest but I didn't have a choice as I bought it second hand.

As for the original post I don't think it's overpriced for a custom gun. It might help sell if you link some larger photos especially showing off the finish on the metalwork.

Yep; I too now regret selling mine. Trouble is, one can only have so many almost cabinet queens!

    Also since I rediscovered springers . . . !

Do you do the colour case yourself, I am doing a few bits and it's variable to say the least.

Be interested in how consistent your colours are, mine either have lots of blue or are very plain even with identical mixes....
