Bugelspanner .25 Valuation needed prior to offering for sale

    MOVED TO NEW SALES THREAD....

Hi all in need of some help on valuing a Bugelspanner .25 rifle before offering up for sale, it is in really good condition with no damage or cracks to the wood, cocks and fires as should.

I would be grateful if anyone can help date and provide a suggested selling price, there are numbers 3904 on the stock plate and where the barrel breaks, also a number on the underside of the barrel but I am unable to read these as hidden by the stock housing, the number looks to start with an 8, also there are some letters and numbers on the cocking lever but these are hard to make out looks like JWZJ1 but hard to tell.

Appreciate everyones thoughts on age and a sensible valuation so I can offer up for sale.

    Many thanks

difficult because of various types and producers......
    I would guess (a starting-price at e**n ) about 230 € .

Here is one (original WILL) for sale by a german dealer:

Hi aimless thanks for your feedback on my posting, I believe these are more easy to come by on the continent than here in the UK and although the one you refer to is a German one with "original will" on it, firstly looking at the style of the trigger guard it is a more modern version than my one as it has the later versioned plain trigger guard without the spurs, it is also not in as good condition as mine and clearly has had the woodwork varnished at some point. I suspect mine is an American or Swedish one just wish I was confident enough to strip it to find the date of manufacture which is show underneath the barrel but you can't see all of it unless the front wood work is removed.

thanks and any other information or suggested values would be most helpful prior to moving to a sales thread.

stripping is not difficult-most of the " mechanics" is inside the stock/cheek-piece and can be stripped easily.
    here is one dismantled:
