My first rule would be go try it before you buy it
I dislike paying top dollar to be the companies street R&D tester.
Usually better to wait till plenty if units sold and initial bugs identified and rectified.
I think it isnt a bad concept but really.....quality glass in daytime is going to be hard to beat letalone excell. Night time a different matter. Digi NV is the way forward and certainly you get more for y9ur money unless you go high end tubed stuff.
I would love to see a hybrid Digi NV and Thermal all in one.
