Nice find at Wimborne Market today

Popped into work early this morning to do some reports on the computer, and finished earlier than expected. Had some time to kill so I thought I would have a mooch around Wimborne market for some old tools etc on the car boot sale bit. Came away with rather more than I bargained for in the shape of a rather respectable Falke 90 air rifle in .22 flavour. The stall holder knew what it was, but I still got myself a real bargain. Now all the I have to find is a replacement rearsight.

Wow, now that's a find, well done.

What's the serial number of the 90.

I've been lucky enough to recently get hold of a falke diopter for one of my 80's, am sure you'll find a rear sight soon.

Any chance of a pic or two.

    Cheers

    Hi Dave,

Yep, couldnt believe what I had found, but snapped it up quite quickly when I realised that I wasn't unwittingly taking part in an episode of candid camera!! It is serial number 31

Very nice, Andy! I'll take a look in my spares box for a rear sight. (Don't hold your breath. )

I got there just after you and the guy said he had just sold it. Bit of work on the stock and it should come up nice. Did they copy the British design or did we copy them ?

    Hey Baz,

Sorry about that. I didnt know it was one of your hunting grounds. First time I have been in years.

I can see that we are going to have to meet up and compare notes, as you seem a bit of a collector like myself. Speak soon

    Lakey

PS, I think they copied our design

What a great find. Looks as if it's built like the proverbial outhouse! I personally rather like its butch lines.
