I would doubt it very much.

Hiki appears to be the Hungarian brand name, (as it is associated with the Torv. Vedve script) which also coincidentally is a word with a different meaning in (apparently) Japanese and as you claim, Hawaiian.

    Just like Relum "Telly"...

EDIT - It is a Hungarian surname, if the below is anything to go by:

    https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XK2Z-FBZ

So the brand name is Hiki, confirmed.

Oh dear András is a Hungarian FT shooter and designer of Maestro FT accessories, residing in Sutton in Ashfield thought him being Hungarian he may be able to shed some light on the name.Oh and Maestro is his name on Shooting The Breeze.

    Hißi

I work a fair amount in older Germanic languages and this looks like the character ß which translates into double s "ss" I've never seen a "k" that looks like that logo. Could be wrong but......

Hißi is "lift" as in elevator in Finnish. but it can also be a proper name.

In Hungarian Hißi is "hiss" as in how a snake hisses.

I like the sibilant logic behind an air rifle called a 'hiss'.
    Can't find anything though.

Apparently the name of the next rifle produced by this company translates as "boing".

It looks to be in very good condition. I wonder what era it is.

this is only really a very slight resemblance. The 'Hiss?Hiki?' is really solid steel pressing (not tinplate) with a very elegant and good quality stock + 'the finger-removing' breach. Definitely not a copy, and from the same 'stable'...

i checked with coburn, who has returned the rifle back to the owner, and the only number visible was '31'.
